-Keep it clean.  No profanity, sexually explicit remarks or links, or misuses of the Lord’s name.

-Keep it friendly.  No deliberately intimidating, hateful, threatening, name calling or otherwise libelous comments.

-Keep it short.  We want a conversation, not a monologue.  No more than three comments in a row from one person.

-Keep it relevant.  Comments must in some way pertain to the article beneath which they appear.

-Keep it legal.  No spam, solicitation or links to advertisements or copyrighted material which you do not have permission to use.

-Keep it legible.  No excessive use of non-alphanumeric symbols, caps lock, acronyms, or languages other than English.

-Keep it generic.  Please don’t use our comment threads as an opportunity to promote your favorite cause, organization or product.

Commenting Policy

Manhattan Declaration does not necessarily endorse the content of any comments made on these sites.  All views and opinions expressed are solely those of the community member(s) who post them.  Because Manhattan Declaration encourages a marketplace of ideas within its specified rules of exchange, our managers may approve comments which express views divergent or contrary to those of the Manhattan Declaration.  Comments are removed when the author is referenced or attacked personally, the comment includes name calling or degrading/threatening statements, the Manhattan Declaration document itself is mischaracterized, the comments thread becomes inundated with one on one discussions, or the comments aren't helpful in creating a healthy and focused dialog.  The Manhattan Declaration, as it always has, reserves its right to moderate comments in whatever way is necessary to maintain a healthy conversation for the signers of the Manhattan Declaration
