Almost Aborted - Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow, NFL quarterback for the Denver Broncos, is another example of someone who was "Almost Aborted". Doctor's encouraged Pam, Tebow's mother, to have an abortion as her life and the child's was greatly at risk. As Tim says in his book, “According to [the doctor], the ‘mass of fetal tissue’ or ‘tumor’—me—had to go.” Watch and share his story below.

I wish you had included the whole video.   I found the end of this interview to be quite powerful.

This almost happened in my life too.  The doctor told my Mom that she was not healthy enough to have another baby.  He wanted her to abort me.  She refused.  I have since had several close calls with life where the doctors told me that they had done all they could do for me.  One doctor told me that it was not anything that he did.  It was from up above.

This story is amazing and I am so proud of your son for standing up against the Giants and having the courage to face the world on his goal to be heaven bound.

God bless the Tebow family, may they be an inspiration for others to choose life for their child in the womb, instead of death by abortion, May Gods name in Jesus Christ be glorified through Tim and his family, Thank you for your boldness in Christ as the apostle Paul was bold so are you. Blessings, Lyle

At the end of the third month of my pregnancy, we discovered that I had an active melanoma on my hip.  My doctors - my dermatologist (who discovered the melanoma), my ob-gyn, and our family doctor, and the tumor board at our local hospital - all recommended immediate surgery to remove the melanoma and surrounding tissue.  The downside was that the surgery could cause a spontaneous abortion.  And because melanoma can cross the placenta, and there were no tests (at that time) to know whether it had, I was offered a therapeutic abortion.  We were asked to consider the options: I could die, and the baby survive, leaving my husband to raise the baby alone.  The baby could die, and I survive.  Or, worst case scenario, we could both die.  As the doctor, a strong Christian, was speaking to us, I heard God's voice telling me that "there was nothing wrong with that baby!"  We chose not to have an abortion, and our healthy daughter was born 5 months later.  I am so thankful that our doctors didn't encourage an abortion, but honored God's message to me.  Our daughter Christy -now 33- has had some close calls in her life, but I believe God has a plan for which He is preparing her and holds her in His hands.  God bless the Tebows and Tim's life!

A brave young girl my wife and I know became pregnant at 15.  Her mother and grandmother tried to convince her to get a abortion saying it would wreck her life and she refused. My wife and I were plan B,  she did try to take care of her little healthy girl, but it was to much for her and her boyfriend.  So they call my wife and I before Social Services was called in to remove the baby girl.  We adopted her and she is a light for Christ now !

She is now almost 4 years old and she touches many lifes for God now !

All things are possible with God.  I am happy for you that you chose the path you did.

Thank you, Lord for this amazing young man!  His witness for Christ is certainly bold and courageous.  May God be Glorified in all he does.
