NJ Supreme Court rejects demand to redefine marriage…for now (from ADF)

In another attempt to redefine marriage as something other than the conjugal union of one man and one woman, a small group of activists in NJ filed suit claiming that same-sex civil unions have not been given the same attention and due diligence as those who are marriage. The group's argument hinged on a 2006 decision in which the New Jersey Supreme Court decided that an equal institution to legal marriage must be created for same-sex couples, if marriage is not available.
